Briefly after completing this reconstruction, I was aware of a paper claiming that Cryolophosaurus’ skull holotype fossil was warped by taphonomic processes, being actually more slender and thus rendering this depiction of the head inaccurate. This is a reminder that: A) paleoartistic reconstructions are scientific hypotheses and thus likely bound to become obsolete or false and B) I must study harder!
