Vallibonavenatrix cani, new species of spinosaurid theropod dinosaur recently described and unearthed in the Arcillas de Morella Formation (Castellón, Spain). In the scene, a Vallibonavenatrix specimen enters the mist with it’s back towards the viewer (the fossil record for this species is limited to partial postcranial remains of the axial skeleton and the pelvic girdle) in what seems to be a coastal or riparian-deltaic environment. Along with Vallibonavenatrix in the scene, the turtle Eodortoka morellana, a crocodile of the genus Bernissartia and some undetermined bird in the background.
